The ancestors of Joe Eppolito are from the town of Poggioreale, Sicily. His father, Vince Eppolito, was born and deceased in Poggioreale. His mother, Nancy ( F’alco) Eppolito, was born in Poggioreal, Sicily. After his father’s death his mother took her five (5) children, Carlo, Joe, Sam, Nick and Mary and migrated to the United States. They embarked Italy via ship and arrived at Ellis Island, New York in 1859. Nancy (Falco) Eppolito was born in Poggioreal, Sicily, and was buried in Richmond, Texas in 1931. Joe Eppolito was born in Poggioreal, Sicily in 1886, and was buried in Richmond, Texas in 1972. Willie Mae Eppolito was born in Bryan, Texas in 1900, and was buried in Richmond, Texas in 1975.
